I for one am an avid baker especially during the Holidays. Many of us love to bring a special dish to one of the multiple Holiday parties. We can’t just try our own fabulous recipe….right!? We have to taste a bit of everyones! J.

EATING TIPS:
  • Sit upright at the table. It will help you to suck in your stomach and not want to feel as full
  • Chew your food slowly. Yes we are all excited to try every h’orderves and cookie but enjoy and take your time.
  • Eat before you go to the party. This way you will be less likely to indulge
  • Keep portions to a decent size
  • Maintain consistent eating schedule

Why not Winter???

Sorry to all my bridal readers for going a week without a new post. This has been a very busy week with my job, important people in my life visiting :) as well as figuring out all of my Holiday Plans. Who would have though Thanksgiving would be here this soon! Gosh where has time gone. I feel like I was just experiencing the crucial NYC heat of the summer and now the leaves are slowly falling off. Before I move on to my Wedding topic I have to share with you this picture perfect photo I took of Central Park yesterday. This is what fall should look like everyday. I stared at this a reached a very peaceful and happy state of mind while smelling the leaves around me and the crisp fall air. For a moment I didn't know I was in NYC.

So as many of you wedding followers know the Fall and Winter are not wedding season. It is very evident for anyone in the wedding industry that it is “Slow Season.” Now I must say I am a bit biased because I myself do prefer summer weddings but there are many great pluses to having a winter wedding. I have decided to share some positives of winter weddings. Some are facts and numbers while others reasons are purely why I think winter weddings can be fun.

Chicago Bears Wedding Themes

BEAR DOWN CHICAGO BEARS!

Nothing says Bear Down more than a Chicago Bears themed wedding. I figured since tonight the Bears are playing the Eagles and I am from the WINDY CITY I should do a little research on Chicago Bears themed weddings. These days a bride and groom can pretty much have any theme they want for their wedding. Sports themed weddings are one of the crazy themed weddings for a "not so traditional bride." When it comes to a brides style for her big day I just like to say "To each bride her own."

Enjoy these Bears themed Wedding Pics! GO BEARS!!!

Check this link out! It shows some of the greatest sports themed weddings.

COLORFUL WEDDINGS!!!

I am all about color and fun yet at the same time I am one for classic romance. Anyone that knows me knows I am all about bright colors.  Fall may seem like the time to wear dark colors but do not forget about ORANGE!

When you get married you have to choose a color theme which will continue throughout the bridesmaid dresses as well as wedding decorations......invitations, flowers, cake ect. This can be a hard decision and more traditional people will be safe and choose more welcoming colors like black, light pink, beige (not that these are bad....they are gorgeous) but lets be daring at take a look at amazing orange bridesmaid dresses.

TAKE A LOOK!!!!

ORANGE you Crazy to go OrAnGe!!!! Nope!

                                                             Jenny Yoo. Burnt Orange

$95!!! Wow....great for a Fall Beach wedding

                                                            Jenny Yoo SOOO Classy

Fun Orange Themed Weddings:

Orange weddings are beautiful but not as common as others colors. Dresses may be a bit hard to find so shop in the summer months or fall when orange colors are popular. Be unique, but remember...... WEDDINGS SHOULD BE CLASSY NOT TRENDY. So keep it classy.
